This post is intended to be a mini Six of Pentacles Tarot Guide. It is important to mention that the longer you work with the cards the more you will discover how they speak to you. For example, the Six of Pentacles does have a theme and traditional meaning but I recommend leaving “space” for the card to speak to you. Over time, you may discover that the card represents unique insights or themes for you personally.

Six of Pentacles Tarot – Upright Meaning
- Represents Sun, fixed / Taurus energy
- The 6 of Pentacles represents generosity, charity, acts of kindness, wealth to share and a complete set. The querent will either be giving to others or will benefit from the generosity of others. The querent should accept generosity if offered and remember that money is an energetic currency so keep it flowing. They have something that the world needs so don’t be shy about self-promotion.
- The querent has or will have everything in order and is juggling matters on the physical plane successfully.
- Balanced manifestation.
- This card can also represent equality and reciprocity in a relationship. Everything and everyone provides a lesson so pay attention.
- This card in the upright position more often means that the querent is the one giving to others.
- Questions to consider:
- Who is represented in this card? The person who is giving? Or the person who is receiving?
- How are you in a position to give back and help?
- How do you exchange money / material items with others in your life?
Shadow Side of the Six of Pentacles
- The 6 of Pentacles reversed often represents someone who is not appreciating the gifts or generosity received from others. It suggests that the querent’s situation will benefit from other people’s charity in some way.
- Charity is good but are expecting something in return or using this to pump up your ego? It’s time to look at your generosity and your motivations for doing so.
- This card reversed most often means that the querent is the one benefiting from the generosity from others.
- Questions to consider:
- Are you giving freely without expectation?
- Are you appreciating the gifts and acts of kindness you have received?
