  • Take time to think things through in the context of karma.
  • The querent is blindfolded and held captive by their own doubts, inner turmoil, and listening to others instead of themselves.
  • A card of interference represents getting static from someone or somewhere in one’s life. There are secret lies that are creating the “static” and interference.  The source may be external or internal and can represent getting static from other people but it can also be self-sabotage.

  • Good karma is coming – fiery ambition, choices have been made and good news or welcome events are coming quickly. You don’t see the good that is coming.
  • Swiftness (mercury), passion, don’t see the good thing coming. Double dose of fire.
  • If someone has an active life to begin with, then it means the person will either continue at the same rate or will be busier than normal. The challenge is that because of the speed, you may speak more directly with others than usual and you may be short-tempered.

8 of Cups Meaning

  • 8s are associated with Mercury and karma
  • Mutable / Pisces energy
  • Independence and karmic lessons good or bad. You’ve made a choice and decided to walk away and not go back. Plan of strength. Walk away. Like Daenyrus from Game of Thrones – she has her dragons and she is cool.
  • Pay attention to what nourishes you. Empower yourself to change because you’re ready for more independence. Do you leave what no longer serves you even if it is painful?
  • Trust your intuition. There is something that no longer provides value to you. Figure out what it is.
  • Card of indolence or arrogant pride. Can represent someone who thinks they know better than divinity or cosmic order – ego and pride.
  • This card often comes up when someone is emotionally frustrated with life. It doesn’t always see divine order but it is there nonetheless – reasons will be made clear in time.
